Domaine des Gandines is situated near Macon in South Burgundy, and covers 11 hectares (27.5 acres).
It is a family estate, animated by the same passion for the land, the terroir.
Since 1979, Robert and Corinne continue the work of their
grandfather and father, and in 2005, their son Benjamin is also taking a more active role.
The first objective of the Dananchet family is respect the environment, tender the vineyard with traditional methods to allow our vines to express all the characteristic of this exceptional terroir.
In January 2006 they have evolved to a production
program respectful of the environment with organic
viticulture

Since generations, our Domaine covers 10 hectares (27,5 acres) and is situated in the south of Burgundy near Macon, in the village of Clessé. Our first objective is the respect of environment. We work in the vineyard with traditionnal methods to allow our vines to express all the characteristics of our exceptionnal terroir.
Since January 2006 we have evolved into a production program which respect the envrionment by using organic viticulture : Agriculture Biologique & Ecocert, which are certified labels for organic vineyards.
We harvest manually , our winemaking techniques have progressed over the years associating traditions with adoption of modern equipment that allows a better control of quality. This is the reason why we offer very aromatic top quality wines with an outstanding ageing potential
100% Pinot Noir

100% Pinot Noir
Burgundy Pinot noir is a red wine from Pinot noir single vineyard located in Peronne. The grapes, harvested by hand, are selected before putting in tank to remove those uneripened or degraded. Fermentation is long, in three phases: pre-fermentation maceration, fermentation, post-fermentation maceration. The wines are aged in oak barrels during 12 months.
Burgundy Pinot Noir has a light dress of a beautiful Ruby. A fresh wine, fruity notes of evolving cherries and spices (nutmeg, cinnamon). The tannins are firm and present in the mouth.
The perfect accompaniment to red Burgundy: charcuterie, grilled cuisine and fatty cheeses.
